DOTTY
I love it when things pop up on my pinterest that just go together so well. Today it's all about dots. Love this retro-inspired Up! poster by Paul Conrad and these cute illustrations by Jenny Bowers.

INSTANT HAPPY
How amazing would your morning commute be if this bridge in England's Carlisle Train Station was part of it? Also, I didn't notice the chandeliers until I was writing this post. Chandeliers. Magical.

MONDAY MIX #91: HERE WE ARE
Summer used to be my favourite season but after my first (very humid) summer in Milwaukee, it has officially been bumped to second. I am so happy that bright leaves and nostalgia are now in the crisp autumn air. (Don't worry, summer, I still love you). Here's a slower mix for your Monday evening to welcome fall.

Oh wow, this week sure got away from me! I hope you all had a marvelous week and we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming here next week!
I wonder if my landlord would let me do this to my radiators.
I'm so excited for fall treats! These cookies are at the top of my fall baking list.
Saw this awesome print on Mallory's blog and bought it for my kitchen.
Raindrops on the sidewalk. (More street art by Peter Gibson here)
Heart jeans DIY.
This cat.
Sesame Street spoof of Glee. (P.S. I want to dance like Blaine all the time. Or I just want Blaine to dance all the time)

REFLECTING THE STARS
According to the U.S. Parks Association, only 10% of the United States will be able to see the night sky by 2020. How sad is that? One of my favourite things about going to Mayne Island in the summer when I was younger was just being able to see the stars and the Milky Way at night and marveling at the sheer size of the universe. This incredible installation on Pier 49 in NY is an attempt to shed some light on the issue of light pollution (haha see what I did there? Yeah, I'm clever. I know)

BY THE LAKE
Hello! I have internet again! (Finally. Internet, I love you. Please never leave me again)
Lake Michigan, sometimes you can be pretty darn lovely. Jade and I stopped by on our way back from work so that she could take some pictures for a project that she is working on. I tested out some of my hipstertastic camera phone apps. It was sunny and breezy and perfect.

LYDIA NICHOLS
Love the fun and graphic nature of Lydia Nichol's illustrations and her use of space in her more gridded compositions. She also has a fantastic sense of typography. Check out more of her work here.

OFF THE GRID
Going to be off the grid for a little while as I wait for internet hook-up in my new apartment. I have a bunch of posts scheduled for the next couple of weeks so hopefully I'll have internet by the time those are through!

GOOD GOOD LINKS FOR THE WEEKEND + MOVING DAY
Moving day has arrived! After living in a hotel for four weeks, I'm getting a little (ok, a lot) stir crazy and can't wait to move. Does anyone have any tips for moving? I'd love to hear them. I've done this four times and I still feel terrible at it. Packing just stresses me out no matter how much or how little it is. Whether it is a suitcase for a trip or my entire apartment, I hate it. Wish me luck!
Impromptu slip 'n' slide in Times Square last Sunday courtesy of Hurricane Irene.
I can't wait to try some of the refreshing and simple recipes on Meal du Jour (via Village)
The only thing that would make these prints better would be if it said "Tony Danza".
These terrariums are totally rad.
Jellyfish! (via Where the Lovely Things Are)
Would love a set of these cookie cutters.
Really digging this mix that I found on 8tracks.
I need this ottoman in my living room. West Elm, why must you taunt me so?
Another fine addition to my dream living room.
And what Good Good links post would be complete without a Harry Potter link?
Have a good long weekend!

GRILLED CHEESE SOCIAL
How had this blog managed to slip under my radar until last week? Grilled cheese sandwiches are my favourite food. No joke. I learned about Grilled Cheese Social when Renae pinned one of MacKenzie's delicious concoctions last week. Here are just a few of the amazing sandwiches that caught my eye.
