Happy Mother's Day!
Just kidding, I love my mama. So, I decided to make her a peach pie for mother's day from scratch. I used the foolproof pie crust recipe from America's Test Kitchen (which contains vodka) and a recipe for Bourbon peach filling that I found on smitten kitchen and it turned out good good! (Like, lick all the leftover crumbs from your plate good good). I'm eating a leftover slice for breakfast right now. The only thing I would tweak is reducing the sugar in the pie crust. It was surprisingly sweet for having only 2 tbsp of sugar!
