Man on Wire
Theme song for the day. The sun is out and it is gorgeous here in Milwaukee. I'm going to go for a walk by the lake this afternoon, get some work done and watch La cité des enfants perdus later (one of the most visually stunning and downright awesome movies I have ever seen).
On an side note, we are studying New York City in my city planning class and watched a documentary about the Twin Towers today. There was a segment about Philippe Petit, the French highwire artist who crossed between the towers in 1974, and I thought these photos were amazing (and also highlight the nice delicate arch detailing on the buildings). That last photo where he is just lying on the wire gives me chills.

O nice! I really enjoyed that movie, though I didn't love the ending.
