Taste of Italy

A little while ago, my sister and I were in an Italian mood (well, I'm always in an Italian mood, she just happened to be on the same wavelength with me), so we decided to whip up some bruschetta for dinner.

Did you know that it's probably one of the top ten mispronounced foodie words? Say it correctly with me, people.

You will need: Loaf of bread, tomatoes, fresh basil, onion, olive oil, a couple cloves of garlic, kosher salt. Pretty easy.

Just chop all of the ingredients (minus the bread) and toss together. Amounts are subject to preference.

Just brush some olive oil and garlic on a nice loaf of bread and broil it in the oven while you chop up all your other ingredients.

Buon appetito!
