Monday Mix #54: Ear chewing gum

Last night while staying up to get some work done, I was trying to find some new catchy foreign pop songs to listen to while I worked (a la Dragostea din Tea, Boten Anna/other Basshunter, Waka Waka, etc). One google search led me to an article talking about the different ways to say "earworm" around the world. In Spanish? Canción pegadiza (which translates to "sticky song"). Canzone tormentone for the Italians, which means "irritating song". By far, my favourite was the Portuguese: chiclete na orelha. Translation? "Ear chewing gum".

Don't worry, I haven't put any ear chewing gum songs on this week's mix (as far as I know) but I just wanted to share that fact. And if anyone has any song suggestions for me to add to my foreign pop collection, please let me know!
