Bookshelf portraits

Oh how I love my 20x200 newsletters. Without these, I would not have found out about the wonderful Jane Mount and her illustrated bookshelves. I love this part of her artist bio on 20x200: "When she was little she believed that people kept learning and changing until they knew absolutely everything, and then they would die and move on to something else because they were done here. She is currently still on that mission."

Jane draws people's bookshelves like "portraiture" she says because you can tell so much about people by what books they read.

What's on your bookshelf?

  8. What a novel idea! I have always enjoyed taking a peek of friend's bookshelves. I agree, you can tell a lot about a person that way. What a fun piece of art to have.
