How crazy is it that it is already the last week of January? Bonkers. I hope everyone had a magnificent weekend (if you want to see the pancakes that I mentioned on Friday, you can see them here. So good) If you are ever in Milwaukee and looking for some amazing breakfast food (for cheap!) then I can't recommend Pancake House enough. Portions are so large that they can easily be split between two (or three) people.
So enough about pancakes and on to the music. This week's mix ended up being a sort of blues/rock kind of mix. One thing I must say is that I can't get enough of Fitz & the Tantrums. 2011 is going to be huge for them. (Update: their video for MoneyGrabber is available for free this week on iTunes!)

Musical sidenote: Just a couple of cool music videos I ran across last week. Love this new She & Him video—impeccably styled as always. And I just saw the video for one of my favourite Fleet Foxes songs. Such cool animation.

We love the Orignal Pancake house apple pancakes thingys (that is what they are right?). We have one near our house and visited one in Chicago on vacation. I make something similar at home now, inspired by theirs but not quite as yummy :)

I adore the She & Him video. I so want to be Zooey Deschanel. 'I Need a Dollar' was a recent free Starbucks song (you know, from the cards they give out?). Great song.
