BITS OF MY WEEKEND, PART TWO: MEMPHIS

While I can't say that I was too crazy about Memphis as a whole, there were definitely many highlights to the trip! I was there for a couple of days although part of one day was spent at a wedding. Spent Sunday morning relaxing at Otherlands Coffee Bar and later ate the best fried chicken I've ever eaten at Gus's. The night was spent exploring Main Street and dancing in the street at the Memphis Blues and Heritage Festival. On Monday morning we stopped at the Arcade (Memphis' oldest restaurant) for some of the sweet potato pancakes recommended to us by someone at the wedding before hitting the road!
