
......so I can bring this cake.
Ever since I found out last month that violas are edible, I've been scheming about this cake. I pretty much horded all of the leftover violas from work and planted them up on my back deck. Unfortunately with the recent heatwave, I didn't have very many left by the time I got around to making this cake, but it is still pretty darn cute nonetheless.



I used my go-to yellow cake recipe (which I've actually never left yellow, always rainbowfied it) and this vanilla boiled buttercream recipe. Yu-um.
What a beautiful cake!!!
