Oh snap, it's Friday already! Was it just me or did that week just fly by?
Well, I thought I'd start the weekend off with a giveaway. I was planning to do one when I hit 100 followers but that has already come and gone! So this giveaway is to celebrate many things. It is to celebrate me finishing up my thesis and having a great show opening, it is to celebrate the relaunching of my etsy shop (now stocked with prints from my thesis), and to celebrate surpassing 100 followers! It's just an all around good day today and I wanted to share the love.
Here's what's up for grabs:
Basilica San Marco print, 14" x 11"
Sacre Coeur print, 12" x 12"
Eiffel Tower print, 8" x 10"
How to enter: Just leave a comment saying something about your favourite travel moment or somewhere you would like to travel to one day. Be sure to include your email in the comment so that I can contact you if you win!
Deadline: Midnight on Sunday CST.
I will draw three winners on Monday!
Bonus for Good Good readers! Use the coupon code "goodgood" in my etsy to receive 10% off of your entire order. Good until April 30.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on everything! My favorite travel moment was in Paris, staying above a cafe and listening to the hustle and bustle of the city below - dishes clanking, street performers, and chatter in so many different languages. -snacktive@gmail.com
ReplyDeletelove the blog! my favorite travel moment was when i met my boyfriend in Thailand. The scenery made it that much easier to fall in love. Love your artwork-especially the Eiffel Tower! my e-mail address is: hadley.mick@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite travel moment was definitely zip-lining in Costa Rica in 2008. It's something I would have never done had I not been in Costa Rica. I'm not an outdoorsy person at all, so it was hard for all my family to believe I actually did it. It was the coolest thing ever and definitely a huge rush!

ReplyDelete(I also feel like I should be supporting you in your emerging days as an artist. But I want free shit)
I would love to travel to France to be able to practice all my years of french classes. I would love to speak french fluently and I think being fully immersed in the language is the only way to achieve this. Also I want to eat croissants for breakfast lunch and dinner.
You have so much to celebrate! It's absolutely fantastic. As for traveling, there are so many places I want to go: Spain, France, Paris, Morocco, Italy, Ireland, Scotland... I'd love to just be able to take a year off and see the world.
ReplyDeleteHi Marisa, thanks for the comment on my blog... which led me here. Your illustrations are really lovely, especially that San Marco. Gorgeous colors. Keep it up. I'd love to see more as you continue to develop your style. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteFavorite travel moment... so hard to choose. But I'd have to say catching the first glimpse of the The Treasury while in Petra, Jordan. Unreal experience.

My favourite travel moment would have to be the seven weeks I travelled around Australia in a camper van. Chilling at the Devil's Marbles at sunset was just incredible!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite travel moment was a couple of years ago when my husband and I rented a car and traveled through the north of Spain. It was so beautiful and I have the best memories from it.

Oh, I particularly love the Basilica San Marco (of course, the one of the three I've never seen!).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite travel memory is riding a ramshackle bicycle along dirt roads outside Savar, Bangladesh by myself, passing village shops and fruit stands on the way to the river with long pointed boats whose roofs were made, ingeniously, of advertising materials -- Pepsi materials stick in particular. I felt further from home than I'd ever felt anywhere at that moment, and also completely relaxed.
My email is thisexactly(at)gmail(dot)com. Thanks for doing a giveaway and congrats on finishing your thesis -- I love your work!
Hey Marisa! thanks for visiting EE.
