BITS OF MY WEEKEND

How is your Monday going everyone? I found five bucks in my dress pocket and took it as a sign that today was going to be awesome. So far, so good.

Over the weekend, I went to the opening of Abstract Fiction with Colleen at UWM. The lovely Lisa Congdon, whose illustrations and other numerous projects I've admired for awhile now, was showing some of her work there and flew out from San Francisco for the opening! It was great to meet her and hear her speak about her art. Colleen and I hit up Melthouse Bistro afterwards (been there three times thus far and it has yet to disappoint). I got the Sergeant Pepper sandwich this time. Game night with friends on Saturday and Sunday was pretty much spent in illustration lockdown. How was your weekend?

    I've wanted to try out Melthouse for a few weeks now! I'm glad to hear it has yet to disappoint!
