TALES OF THE NIGHT (LES CONTES DE LA NUIT)

I saw Tales of the Night last Saturday as part of the Milwaukee Film Festival. It's a French animated film that has the three narrators devising folk tales from around the world to act out in an abandoned theatre. The film features vibrantly coloured and patterned backgrounds with the figures silhouetted like shadow puppets acting out the story. The English dubbed version was a little laughable at times but overall wonderful visually.
